project 04: building up the co-ed Scouts venturing wooster bike crew

1.) bike safety

2.) bike repairs

3.) community service

The wooster bike crew is a Scouts Venturing Crew (teenagers 14 to 21 and registered adult leaders), whose mission is to help Wooster citizens by riding our bicycles with trailers, with tools, from our base at Oakhill & West Wayne (usually Sundays from 4-6pm) to the home of a Wooster citizen (max 3 miles away), where we can work on a small sized project, such as cleaning out the front yard, cleaning inside the home, or doing small safe repairs in the home.

We do also meet every 1st, 3rd, and 5th (if it exists) Saturdays at 11:30am at the UU Fellowship at 3186 Burbank, just East of the Wooster High School.

If you know of any teenagers interested in joining, please send us a message.

Also, we will be organizing a once-a-year wooster bike party fundraiser ride to help us with the needed bikes, trailers and tools.

If you have any bicycles, bike trailers, bike racks, or bike & garden tools to donate, you can also drop them off at the northeast corner of Oakhill & West Wayne.
